Which Camp Should You Choose?
Choose Entim Main if the river outlook is a central reason for your visit. It is our starting recommendation when you want a traditional tented stay with the river woven into the experience.
Choose Entim Private if you want more room to relax, contemporary interiors and a pool. It is particularly worth considering when you expect to spend part of each day enjoying the camp.
If you are unsure, we can quote both for the same dates and explain the difference in the total safari cost.
Does Entim Private Mean Exclusive Use?
Booking a suite at Entim Private does not automatically give your group exclusive use of the camp.
If you want the whole property for a family celebration or private group, ask us for an exclusive-use proposal.
Our private safari packages include a vehicle exclusively for your party. Camp exclusivity is a separate arrangement.
Entim Mara Camp Location
Entim Main is inside the Masai Mara National Reserve on the Mara River. Entim Private is nearby, with its accommodation set back from the river.
We plan your arrival route, accommodation and game drives together. Your proposal identifies the selected camp, transport arrangements and park access included in the package.
Being inside the reserve is an important part of the booking decision. We account for the applicable park fees when preparing your safari quotation, rather than leaving them as an unexplained extra.
If you are staying at two Mara properties, we also plan the transfer between them. We recommend adding a second camp when it contributes a different setting or experience to your holiday.
Entim and the Great Migration
Entim Main overlooks a Mara River crossing point. When migrating herds use that stretch of river, crossings may be visible from camp. From Entim Private, crossing areas can be explored by vehicle.
We usually consider July to October for travellers interested in the migration in the Mara. The timing of herd movements varies, and river crossings cannot be guaranteed.
A good location gives you an opportunity to observe what is happening nearby. It does not determine when the animals enter the water.

By Road from Nairobi
We arrange pickup from the agreed Nairobi location and private travel to Entim.

If you are arriving on an international flight, send us the flight details before confirming a same-day safari departure.
By Air from Wilson Airport
Our flying packages use scheduled flights from Wilson Airport to the appropriate Mara airstrip.
Your proposal identifies the flight arrangements and airstrip, with transfers coordinated around your chosen camp.
Wilson Airport and Jomo Kenyatta International Airport are separate airports. If you need a transfer between them, we include it explicitly in your quotation.
Combining Entim with Other Destinations
